A 19-year-old college student injured Tuesday in a moped crash in Waikiki was pronounced dead Friday at The Queen's Medical Center at 2:15 p.m., according to the Honolulu Medical Examiner's office.

The victim was identified as Shirzad Soleymani. His parents informed The Advertiser Friday their son's organs have been donated and will help at least 10 people.

The Honolulu Police Department today had not yet officially listed the death as O'ahu's sixth traffic fatality.
