Survived by wife, Mitsuko; sons, Byron and Chester; daughters, Nancy Sanchez, Sandra Malachi and Sherri Ann Powell; brothers, Koshi, Teruo, Yukio and Wallace; sisters, Asayo Nakano, Namiko Fukunaga, Doris Tomono and Marilyn Fujikawa; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
