STATE FARM INSURANCE

State Farm Insurance has announced the appointments of new State Farm agents: Skip Barraco of the Maui Home Depot branch joined State Farm in 1993 and has until now worked in marketplace compliance and operations.

Lance Migita works the South Shore Plaza area in Kihei, Maui, and has been an account executive with CIGNA Healthcare for 10 years in Los Angeles.

Tina Tay works in the Hawaii Kai Executive Plaza behind City Mill. Prior to joining State Farm, she was with American Savings Bank for 10 years, most recently as a senior loan officer.

BANK OF HAWAII

Jill Shimokawa Higa has been promoted to executive vice president and division manager of Hawaii Branch Division of Bank of Hawaii. In her new position, Higa assumes leadership of the bank's network of branches statewide and administration of key areas in the division including sales, service, training, compliance, budget and branch facilities.

Higa has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry both in Hawai'i and California.

Higa earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Hawai'i-Manoa and graduated with honors from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.
