A 38-year-old man was arrested early today for allegedly entering three unlocked apartments at a Kalihi public housing complex and fondling women in two of the units.

The suspect, who is 6-feet-1 and 235 pounds, was arrested by police at 1475 Linapuni St. at 1:44 a.m. and booked on one count of unauthorized entry into a dwelling, two counts of first-degree burglary and two counts of fourth-degree sex assault. The man's criminal record lists 22 convictions.

Police said the suspect allegedly fled from one apartment when he found a 23-year-old male resident at home and entered another unit where he allegedly fondled a woman, 48, who was asleep on a sofa. He then entered a third apartment and fondled a woman, 20, asleep in her bedroom.
