HANAMA'ULU
Park closing for a month but beach open for use

Advertiser Staff

Starting tomorrow, county officials will close Hanama'ulu Beach Park for a monthlong cleanup.

The park will be closed to camping, and use of the pavilions will not be allowed for the duration of the project, through March 22.

However, there will still be limited access to the beach.

When the work is completed, the Hanama'ulu Neighborhood Association will host a celebration at the park. HNA's first annual Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled there March 23.

County personnel will do extensive work at the beach park, including tree trimming, debris removal, road scraping and boulder replacement along the boundaries.
