PORTLAND, Ore. — The Portland Trail Blazers have acquired guard Von Wafer from the Denver Nuggets in exchange for guard Taurean Green.

Wafer, a three-year veteran, averaged 1.3 points, 0.5 rebounds, 0.2 assists and 4.3 minutes in 21 games with the Nuggets this season.

Green, a rookie, was selected by the Trail Blazers with the 52nd overall pick out of Florida.

He played in eight games for the Blazers this season, averaging 2.1 points in 5.5 minutes.
