Christian Hernandez and Bryson Tatupu-Leopoldo each scored nine points to lead Farrington over McKinley, 31-24, in a semifinal yesterday in the boys Division II Hawaiian Airlines State Basketball Championships at Pearl City.

Ionatana Woodard led McKinley with eight points.

Farrington will face 'Aiea today at Blaisdell Arena for the title.

Kalua Noa scored a game-high 23 points as the Cougars pulled away from the Farmers in the second half in a consolation game at Moanalua.

Keoni Kahoalii and Kaden Tabil scored 10 points for Moloka'i.

Kaiser will face Kohala for fifth place today at Blaisdell Arena.
