Kailua Elementary School will host an imu fundraiser where residents can cook their food in an underground oven, Hawaiian- style, on March 14.

The deadline to reserve a space is March 7, and the cost is $12 for a large disposable aluminum tray, but the limit is one turkey per tray.

Food must be thawed, seasoned and well wrapped with aluminum foil, and brought to the school between 3 and 4:30 p.m. March 14 and collected between 8 and 9:30 a.m. March 15.

Send check payable to Kailua Elementary School, 315 Ku'ulei Road, Kailua, HI 96744. Include a telephone number. Write IMU on the envelope and include a stamped, self-addressed envelope.
