Maui lane closures continue

The state Department of Transportation will have road projects at the following locations this week, weather permitting.

HONOAPI'ILANI HIGHWAY

1) Fiber Optic Cable Installations (NIGHT WORK)

Sngle lane closure in the Lahaina-bound direction from Ma'alaea Road (Mile Point 6.7) to the Kaheawa Wind Farm (Mile Point 7.5) through Friday morning, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, for drilling and trenching work for fiber optic cable installations (contractor permit work).

During these closures, traffic will be contraflowed through the area in the remaining open lane.

PI'ILANI HIGHWAY

1) Fiber Optic Cable Installations

Sngle lane closure in the north-bound direction from approximately one-quarter mile south of Lipoa Street to Piikea Avenue through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily, for trenching work for fiber optic cable installations (contractor permit work).

KAHULUI BEACH ROAD

1) Sewer Main Installations

Single lane closure in both directions from Kaihee Place to Ka'ahumanu Avenue through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily, for trenching work for sewer force main installations (
