'Women's Closet' serves as fundraiser for cancer patient

Advertiser Staff

Local designers and models will take part in a "Women's Closet" fundraiser set for Sunday at The O Lounge, 1349 Kapi'olani Blvd.

The event, set for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., features a fashion show, up to 75 percent discounts on fashions and jewelry, free mini massages, and complimentary makeovers by Clinique. All ticket proceeds will benefit Rozanne Llewellyn, a boutique owner who is undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

"We will be showcasing fashion that can be worn anywhere – from executive board rooms, to the classroom. This is a great way for women to pamper themselves a day before Girl's Day," O Lounge owner Elizabeth Watanabe said in a news release.

"Rozanne Llewellyn has been a big supporter of previous Women's Closets and now we step up to help her to defray mounting medical expenses, and raise awareness of cancer in our community."

Tickets: $8. For additional information, visit www.theolounge.com or call 944-8436.
