Sea Talk at Maui Ocean Center

Advertiser Staff

Maui Ocean Center's free Sea Talk Series continues on Monday, March 3 and Tuesday, March 4 at 6 p.m. with "Northwestern Hawaiian Islands Experience," presented by Ziggy Livnat. Livnat will share never before seen footage and share stories of his recent visit to the Northwestern Hawaiian islands.

Livnat is a professional photographer, environmentalist and educator. His current projects, the Hawai'i Reef Etiquette Public Service Announcement featuring "talking" sea life in English and now Japanese, started in 2004 and is being shown in many venues across the State of Hawaii to more than one million visitors and children annually.

His second film "Hawaiian Blue - The Encounters" was produced from over 400 hours of day and night dives in Hawaiian waters.

Sea Talks are held at the Open Ocean exhibit at Maui Ocean Center and feature presentations by renowned marine life and Hawaiian cultural experts. Admission is free; reservations are required. To reserve a seat for either night call 808-270-7089.
