Hawaii residents sought to serve on Ethics Commission

The Judicial Council is accepting applications from any U.S. citizen and Hawai'i resident interested in serving on the state Ethics Commission.

A vacancy on the commission will occur June 30 when the term of Robert Bean expires.

Commission members may not hold any other public office. The Ethics Commission regulates the ethics of all legislators, registered lobbyists, and state employees with the exception of judges, who are governed by the Commission on Judicial Conduct.

Interested persons should submit an application with resume and three letters of recommendation by March 14 to the Judicial Council, Hawai'i Supreme Court, 417 S. King St., Second Floor, Honolulu, HI, 96813-2902.
