Sheraton Hotels and Resorts Hawai'i has signed a two-year extension as the title sponsor of the Hawai'i Bowl, the game announced yesterday.
The extension takes Sheraton, which has been the game's sponsor since 2003, through 2009.
This year's game will match representatives from the Western Athletic Conference and Pac-10 at a December date yet to be announced.
The University of Hawai'i will appear for the fifth time in seven years if the Warriors win at least seven of their 13 games.
"We are very excited that Sheraton Hotels and Resorts Hawai'i has agreed to this extension," said Jim Donovan, the game's executive director.
The game is owned and operated by ESPN Regional Television.
