Kalihi stabbing investigation stalled

Advertiser Staff

The investigation into last night's stabbing of a 17-year-old boy at Mayor Wright Housing in Kalihi is stalled because the victim isn't cooperating, police said today.

A boy, 17, was taken to The Queen's Medical Center in stable condition, police said.

The boy, who was stabbed once in the back, was found lying on the sidewalk area of Building 29 at 630 North Kukui St. at 8:55 p.m. by police responding to a complaint of a fight in the area. The participants scattered as police approached.

The stabbing was reported at around 9 p.m. and may have involved a fight.
