Moanalua High junior Tadd Fujikawa had three double-bogeys and three bogeys en route to an 8-over-par 78 today in the first round of the Honda Classic at the PGA National Champion Course in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

Luke Donald is the clubhouse leader after shooting a 6-under 64.

Fujikawa bogeyed the first, sixth and eighth holes, all par-4s. He double-bogeyed the par-4 No. 2 and par-3 No. 7 and made the turn at 7-over 42. He got a stroke back with a birdie on the par-4 No. 12. He double-bogeyed the par-3 No. 17.

Fujikawa, 17, is playing on a sponsor's exemption. The PGA Tour event is his 11th start since turning pro last year. He is looking to make his first cut.
