Left lanes will be closed Kahekili Highway between Kulukeoe Street and Ha'iku Road in both directions on Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily as workers remove concrete median barriers and make water line adjustments.

The $4.1-million Kahekili Highway Landscaping Project will include the installation of landscaped planter boxes on the median and 19 roadside vine planter boxes, construction of accessible curb ramps and resurfacing of the highway between Kulukeoe Road and Ha'iku Road in Kaneohe.

The project is scheduled to be completed on Dec. 17.
