NBA: Pacers Granger suspended for striking player

INDIANAPOLIS — The NBA suspended Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger for one game without pay today for striking Chicago's Andres Nocioni in the face.
The incident occurred in the fourth quarter of Indiana's 113-107 loss to the Bulls on Wednesday.
The suspension was for tonight's game at Toronto.
The Pacers had no other comment besides the statement released by the league through Stu Jackson, the NBA's executive vice president for basketball operations, team spokesman David Benner said.
