Scott Enos has been promoted to director of operations for The Compadres, with Compadres Bar & Grill Hawaii locations in Honolulu's Ward Centre and in the Lahaina Cannery Mall on Maui, as well as restaurants in Palo Alto and Oakland, Calif. He also will continue as general manager of Compadres Old Adobe in Palo Alto near Stanford University, where he has been at the helm for seven years.

U.S. GREEN BUILDING COUNCIL
Rhonda Goyke, co-owner Green Sand Inc. Architect and Design, was recently voted as chapter vice chair for the U.S. Green Building Council, a national nonprofit group dedicated to expanding sustainable building practices. Prior to forming Green Sand Inc., she was an environmental health specialist with the Hawai'i state Department of Health, an environmental planner with a large Hawai'i-based international A/E firm and for the past seven years a small-business owner.
UNIVERSITY OF HAWAI'I
BRIAN MINAAI has been appointed associate vice president of capital improvements for the University of Hawai'i system. He will oversee the planning, development, implementation and intergration of multimillion-dollar capital improvement projects and long-range physical development plans. He was most recently senior development director for Marriott Vacation Club in Kapolei and was director and deputy director of the state Department of Transportation and chief clerk and budget chief of the state Senate Ways & Means Committee.
HAWAI'I PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION
Hawai'i Psychological Association has announced the officers of its 2008 board of directors. They are:
President, Brad Klontz, clinical psychologist, Coastal Clinics Inc., Kapa'a, Kaua'i; president-elect, Rosemary Adam-Terem, clinical psychologist in private practice; past president, Robin Miyamoto, private practice; secretary, Chad Grills, psychologist at Schofield Barracks and in private practice specializing in clinical neuropsychology; treasurer, Jeffrey Stern, clinical psychologist in private practice, University of Hawai'i faculty.
Neighbor Island representatives are: Hawai'i County, Tim Ambrose, psychologist in private practice in Puna; Maui County, Darryl Salvador, director of behavioral health services/staff psychologist for the Molokai Community Health Center and contract psychologist/consultant with Tripler Army Medical Center Department of Psychology; Kaua'i County, Alexander Bivens, private practice on Kaua'i, specializing in treatment of adolescents, families and adults.
HAWAII MEDICAL SERVICE ASSOCIATION
The Hawaii Medical Service Association has announced the promotions of Linda Axtell-Thompson, Cynthia Ajifu and Katy Akimoto.
Axtell-Thompson is now assistant vice president of the Office of Strategy Management and the Privacy Office. She is responsible for oversight of corporate strategic planning, competitive analysis, policy analysis and privacy compliance.
Ajifu is now director of Operations Assessment and the Information Protection Unit. She is responsible for corporate process efficiency, regulatory compliance, special projects, and information protection and security.
Akimoto assumes the position of assistant vice president of Legal Services and Special Projects. She is responsible for administrative functions and special projects related to HMSA legal services and the organization's goals.
