50 CENT IN CONCERT
Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. today for a concert by controversial rap star 50 Cent, G Unit and Isle R&B singer Afatia March 28 at the Blaisdell Arena.
50 last performed in Honolulu in 2003. He has three releases under his belt — the debut blockbuster "Get Rich or Die Tryin,'" 2005's "The Massacre" and last year's "Curtis."
Tickets — $49, $69, $99 — are available at the box office and Ticketmaster outlets. A VIP ticket, for a meet-and-greet backstage with the performers, is available through Tihati Productions, 735-0292. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

'KAHEKILI' AT LEEWARD
The life of Kahekili — the pre-Western-contact warrior chief said to be the father of Kamehameha the Great — will be dramatized by kumu hula Hokulani Holt and halau Pa'u O Hi'iaka at 8 p.m. March 15 at the Leeward Community College Theatre.

In 2006, "Kahekili" was named an American Masterpiece by the National Endowment for the Arts.
