Several lanes to be shut near merge for restriping

Advertiser Staff

Multiple lanes will be closed near the merge of the H-1, H-3 and H-201 freeways to the Ka'onohi Street overpass from 9 tonight to 4 a.m. tomorrow for lane striping and marker installation work.

At the freeway merge point, the closure will include the two right lanes of the H-1 Freeway and the leftmost lane of the H-201 Moanalua Freeway. The H-1 Freeway westbound on-ramp from Ulune Street and the H-3 Freeway westbound Pearl City off-ramp will also be closed during this time.

Westbound H-3 drivers are advised to use the earlier Stadium/Halawa off-ramp and use Ulune Street, Moanalua Road or Kamehameha Highway as alternate routes. Traffic will rejoin the westbound H-1 Freeway from Moanalua Road at the Waimalu Interchange.
