Hawaii stock index falls for a fourth session

The Bloomberg-Honolulu Advertiser Hawai'i Index fell for a fourth consecutive trading session as local stocks traced a downward slide by broader markets.The 11-member stock index declined 1.35 points to 93.95, as two issues gained, eight declined and one remained unchanged.
Alexander & Baldwin fell $1.34, or 2.6 percent, to $50.32, while Bank of Hawaii was off $1.25 to $49.89.
Castle Group, the Honolulu-based owner of Castle Resorts & Hotels, isn't in the index. It's shares rose 49 percent, or 50 cents, to $1.51 in over-the-counter bulletin board trading.
