Hawaii man wins $2.5M race-discrimination settlement

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission today announced a $2.5 million settlement of a racial discrimination case in Hawai'i.The settlement is the largest for a racial discrimination case in EEOC history and is believed to be the largest such settlement in Hawai'i.
In the case, Charles Daniels alleged he was subject to repeated acts of racial harassment by co-workers at defense contractor Lockheed Martin.
