Girl, 13, alleges sex assault by volleyball coach

An assistant volleyball coach was arrested for questioning today after a 13-year-old girl told police she was sexually assaulted by him over a two-month period.The coach, a 28-year-old Makiki man, voluntarily came to the main police station today and was booked for first-degree sex assault, questioned and released pending further investigation at 4:20 p.m.
Police did not identify where the man coaches.
The sex assaults allegedly occurred from last Nov. 3 through yesterday, police said.
