Preps: MIL boys, girls basketball reports

Chynna Ramelb scored seven of her team-high 11 points in the second half as the Maui High School girls basketball team defeated Kamehameha Maui 49-35 in a Maui Interscholastic League game last night at the Sabers' gym.
Shakiyla Heslip and Ariel Gaoiran scored eight points apiece for the Sabers (3-1).
Natasha Kealoha scored 10 points for the Warriors (0-4).

At the Maui High gym, Erwin Decoite scored 11 of his 14 points in the first two quarters, and Kamehameha Maui raced out to a 35-13 lead at halftime.
Kekoa Turbeville added 12 points for the Warriors, who improved to 2-1.
Kapono Kong scored 19 points for the Sabers (0-4), and Matt Brown added 13 points.
