3 Beretania Street lanes closed tomorrow to Tuesday

Advertiser Staff

Three mauka lanes of South Beretania Street between Alapai and Lauhala streets in the area of the Board of Water Supply building will be closed to traffic from 8 a.m. tomorrow through 5 a.m. Tuesday due to reconstruction and resurfacing road work.

There will be various lane closures in the area for resurfacing through Jan. 11.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes during the 24-hour closure period.

Information on the Beretania Street rehabilitation road work project and lane closures is available online at www.ssfm.com/beretania_street or the project hotline at 591-7666.

The project involves reconstructing sidewalks and roadways, resurfacing, installing curb ramps, creating concrete bus pads, adjusting utility poles and manholes, replacing signs and reflector markings, improving the drainage system, and installing pavement markings.
