Overturned truck closes Auiki Street near Sand Island

Police are warning residents about a closure on Auiki Street between Pu'uhale and Sand Island Road due to an overturned semi-tractor rig.Police said a rig carrying a load of dry cement flipped on its side just before 11 a.m.
There were no injuries and the load was not spilled but it is blocking the roadway.
Road assistance has been called by the company, and it is en route. It is unknown at this time how long it will take for the roadway to be cleared, police said.
