Coast Guard helps sick girl on boat off Molokini Crater

A rescue boat crew from Coast Guard Station Maui assisted a girl suffering from a seizure on a touring vessel moored off Molokini Crater at about 9 a.m. today.The station watchstander received a distress call at 8:15 a.m. from a crewmember aboard the 65-foot touring vessel Ocean Odyssey. The crewmember said a 9-year-old girl was suffering from a seizure aboard the vessel.
The Coast Guard boatcrew took the girl to awaiting emergency medical services at Kihei Harbor.
