Golf: Sony Open pre-qualifier to be held Sunday

The Aloha Section PGA is holding a pre-qualifier for the Sony Open in Hawaii on Sunday at the par-72 Makaha Resort Golf Club.There are 74 golfers entered in the event and the top 50, plus ties, will be eligible for the Sony Open qualifier on Monday. They will compete against PGA and Nationwide golfers for four spots in the Sony Open.
