No tsunami threat for Hawaii from 6.5 earthquake

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Ewa Beach has issued statement that based on all available data, there is no tsunami threat to Hawaii following a 6.5 earthquake in the Queen Charlotte Islands region.The quake, which occurred late last night Hawaii time, registered 51.2 miles north and 130.5 miles west of the islands.
