Assault, burglary suspects released from custody

Two men arrested early yesterday for investigation of separate criminal offenses have been released pending further investigation although one of them was sent to District Court today on warrants.Patrick Setafene, 24, of Kalihi may be prosecuted for second-degree assault at a later date but went to court on misdemeanor warrants of $150 and $100.
The alleged assault at 99-199 Kamehameha Highway occurred after a traffic dispute.
Police also released a 41-year-old man who was arrested at Nanakuli High School while allegedly in possession of stolen items. He also could be prosecuted at a later date.
