Barnwell-connected company receives $729K payment

Advertiser Staff

A land development partnership majority owned by Honolulu-based Barnwell Industries Inc. received a $729,000 option payment relating to development rights within Hualalai Resort on the Big Island, the company reported.

The payment to Kaupulehu Developments was the balance owed on a roughly $2.7 million payment for 2007.

Barnwell, which owns 78 percent of the partnership, reported receiving $1.93 million in October. The combined payment was the seventh of 10 scheduled annual payments. The remaining three payments are due by the end of this year and the next two years.
