Palolo water main break affecting 30 homes

The Board of Water Supply tonight is repairing a broken 12-inch water main in Palolo that has disrupted service to 30 homes.The main break fronting 1816 10th Ave. was reported at 11:20 a.m., said BWS spokesperson Wanda Yamane.
Yamane said 10th Avenue between Pa'alea Street and Kalua Road is closed to traffic. A water wagon at 1823 10th Ave. is assisting affected customers with their water needs.
Service is expected to be restored at about 11 p.m. barring any setbacks.
