Crews extinguish fire at Waikiki high-rise

No injuries were reported in a high-rise building fire tonight in Waikiki which firefighters had under control in 20 minutes.The 8:38 p.m. fire in unit 1514 forced the evacuation of Chateau Waikiki, 411 Hobron Lane, said Honolulu Fire Department spokesman Capt. Frank Johnson.
Police closed streets in the area.
Fire damage was contained to unit 1514 but other apartments above and below were affected, Johnson said. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
