Advertiser Staff

The Kamehameha Schools has sold the fee interest to the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Virginia.

Members of the prestigious golf club said today that they voted to buy out the lease to the 18-hole course, which has played host to four Presidents Cups.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

"This is a significant milestone for RTJ. Owning the club has been a goal of the membership since day one," said Bud Elliot, RTJ's president.
