Search in Kalihi turns up no trace of missing woman

Advertiser Staff

Police officers with dogs today conducted an unsuccessful search in Kalihi for a missing 79-year-old Filipino woman who suffers from Alzheimer's disease and does not speak English.

Anicia Manzano was last seen Jan. 3 at her home on Kamehameha IV Road, police said. Today's search was conducted in the area of her home.

A Honolulu CrimeStoppers bulletin yesterday provided incorrect information that Manzano was last seen in the area of The Queen's Medical Center, police said.

Manzano was last seen wearing a green sweater and floral print dress.

Police also reported no new developments in locating Ronald B.D. Lee, who left his Palisades home Dec. 5.

Anyone with information on Manzano or Lee can call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME on a cellular phone.
