Fire caused $125,000 damage to Waikiki high-rise unit

A fire last night at the Chateau Waikiki high-rise on Hobron Lane caused an estimated $110,000 structural damage to apartment No. 1514 with content loss of $15,000.Honolulu Fire Department spokesman Capt. Frank Johnson said cause of the 8:38 p.m. fire is under investigation.
Damage estimates to several other units are still being compiled, Johnson said.
No injuries were reported.
