Actors Group to stage Catholic 'Mass Appeal' drama

The Actors Group will present "Mass Appeal," a drama about moral relationships in the Catholic church, from Jan. 25 through Feb. 24 at The Yellow Brick Studio, 625 Keawe St.

Brad Powell is direct the production, by Bill C. Davis, in which ideology and personality collide between a veteran priest and a young seminarian struggling to maintain a friendship amid change.

Brother Gary Morris, drama department head at Chaminade University, will portray Father Tim Farley, the survivalist priest, with Blaze Mancillas, as Deacon Mark Dolson, who seeks salvation.

Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays, after a

Friday night opening, and at 4 p.m. Sundays.

Tickets: $15 general, $13 seniors, $12 students.
