Hawaii County seeking proposals on services to elderly

The Hawai'i County Office of Aging is soliciting proposals for the provision of the following services to elderly individuals on the Big Island for the period July 1, 2008, to June 30, 2009:

  • Case Management

  • Congregate Meals

  • Home-Delivered Meals (Federal)

  • Home-Delivered Meals (State)

  • Legal Assistance

  • Nutrition Education

  • Nutrition Transportation

  • Outreach

  • Public Education

  • Transportation

    Application packets will be available at the Hawaii County Office of Aging, 101 Aupuni St., Room 342, Hilo, or by calling 808-961-8600.

    Questions on the contents of the application packet should be directed to the Office of Aging contact person as noted on the Request for Proposal: Service Specifications.

    All proposals must be received by 4:30 p.m. on March 7 at the Hawai'i County Office of Aging. Proposals will not be accepted after the deadline. All proposals must be complete and submitted in accordance with the Request for Proposal Guidelines.
