Lei maker Choy to offer free workshops

Brian Choy, one of Hawaii's top lei makers and winner of several Lei Day contests, will offer four lei-making demonstrations/worksops in conjunction with the City & County of Honolulu's department of parks and recreation.
The free Saturday morning workshops feature slides and a demonstration:
-- 9:30 a.m. Jan. 26, Wahiaw? Botanical Gardens, 1396 California Ave.
-- 9:30 a.m. Feb. 9, Makiki District Park's administration building, 1527 Ke'eaumoku St.
-- 9:30 a.m. Feb. 23, Kaneohe Community Center's Edgar Jones Auditorium, 45-613 Pu'ohala St.
-- 9:30 a.m. March 1, Koko Head District Park, 423 Kaumakani St.
