Pleasant weather expected at least through Sunday

A ridge approximately 200 miles north of the state will continue to produce light winds and dry weather across most of the state through friday night, according to the National Weather Service.

Skies will remain mostly clear at night, while daytime sea breezes will lead to clouds and showers each afternoon.

A shear line or front will move down the island chain Saturday night and Sunday followed by cool, dry and gusty northeasterly winds through Monday.

Here's a more detailed look at the next few days:

Today: Isolated showers after noon. Partly cloudy, with a high near 79. South wind between 3 and 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 63. Calm wind becoming northeast around 6 mph.

Friday: Isolated showers after noon. Partly cloudy, with a high near 79. South wind between 3 and 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 63. East wind around 6 mph.

Saturday: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 77. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Saturday Night: Scattered showers, mainly after midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 65. North wind between 8 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
