Parking information for Saturday Hula Bowl, swap meet

Aloha Stadium will implement traffic and parking procedures on Saturday when the Hula Bowl is set to be played in the afternoon with the swap meet in the morning.

Parking gates will open at 6 a.m. for the swap meet, which will run until 3 p.m.

Fans arriving for the Hula Bowl will be allowed to park in either the upper or lower Halawa lot starting at 10 a.m. Tailgating will not be allowed before 10 a.m.

The turnstiles for the 1 p.m. Hula Bowl will open at 11 a.m. Fans must enter the stadium through turnstile gates 2 and 3 only.

Parking for the swap meet will be via Gate 1 and Gate 3. The cost is $1 per person.

Increased security will be on hand to ensure safety. Fans can report inappropriate behavior by calling 483-2807.
