Begin 'Exploring the Deep' tonight at Hanauma Bay

Hanauma Bay's month-long series of events called "Exploring the Deep" starts this evening.Rachel Orange will present "Images from the Deep Sea around Hawaii: Cross Seamount to the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands."
Other programs this month include:
Jan. 17: "Exploration of Deep-water Macroalgal Meadows in the Main Hawaiian Islands," by Heather Spalding
Jan. 24: "Exploration of Deep Seamounts and Ridges in the Papahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument," by Dr. Christopher Kelley.
Jan. 31: TBA
The series is part of the University of Hawai'i Sea Grant College's Hanauma Bay Education Program.
All events take place at the Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve Theater from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Parking is free after 5:30 p.m.
