WAI'ANAE
Small-boat harbor fixed, open again for public use

Advertiser Staff

Following nearly $1.3 million in repair work, the Wai'anae Small Boat Harbor facilities recently reopened for public use, the Department of Land and Natural Resources said yesterday.

A blessing ceremony was held yesterday.

Improvements at the small-boat harbor included replacement of four concrete loading docks at the boat launch ramp, 20 concrete finger piers, four aluminum finger piers and the boat launch ramp concrete approach, the DLNR said.

Other improvements were modification of the Pier C approach ramp, one of the loading docks and two of the finger piers for ADA accessibility.
