OHA to hold workshop on how to seek its grants

The Office of Hawaiian Affairs will host a special grants workshop Jan. 22 for organizations interested in applying for OHA grants this year.

OHA considers grant proposals from organizations working to address the needs of the Native Hawaiian community. Grant awards of up to $100,000 will go to programs that address OHA Strategic Plan goals in areas including education, health, human services and housing.

The event will happen from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Waimanalo Hawaiian Homes Association Halau at 41-253 'Ilauhole St. Dinner will be provided.
