Fire hydrant broken off in Kaimuki traffic accident

Firefighters from Kaimuki have been sent to the intersection of 10th Avenue and Kaau Street where a fire hydrant was reportedly broken off during a traffic accident.The fire crew was sent out on the call about 5:51 a.m.
The car that broke the hydrant is reported to be sitting atop it.
Roads in the immediate area are being closed to traffic.
