McLachlin shoots 65, moves up Sony leaderboard

Honolulu's Parker McLachlin shot a 5-under-par 65 today and was at 6-under 204 in the third round of the Sony Open in Hawai'i at Waialae Country Club.McLachlin, a Punahou and UCLA alum, moved from a tie for 59th to a tie for 21st.
K.J. Choi (66) took a four-stroke lead over Tim Wilkinson (62) entering the final round. Choi is at 15-under 195.
McLachlin is the only player with Hawai'i ties to make the cut.
