UH baseball fundraiser set for Jan. 21

The annual Hawai'i Baseball Grand Slam Celebration is set for Jan. 21 at the Stan Sheriff Center.The event is a fundraiser for the UH Rainbow baseball program. Tickets are $75. Parking is free with the presentation of your ticket at the parking gate. Also included with the ticket are two tickets to the Feb. 17 game against UH-Hilo.
The event opens at 5:30 p.m., with the program scheduled to start at 6:30. Heavy pupu and drinks will be available for attendees, who will have a chance to meet players and coaches.
Food will be provided by Big City Diner, Compadres Bar & Grill, 3660 on the Rise, Hukilau, Mariposa, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, Sergio's, Side Street Inn and Sodexho. Beer and wine tasting will be offered by Better Brands, Anheuser-Busch, Paradise Beverages and Southern Wine & Spirits.
