Advertiser Staff

Governor Linda Lingle recently released $180,000 to replace the chiller plant at Wahiawa Public Library.

The current chiller plant is more than 18 years old and has reached the end of its serviceable life, causing frequent air-conditioning outages at the library, a news release from the governor's office said.

Design is scheduled to be completed in May 2008. Construction is scheduled to begin in September 2008 and be completed in April 2009.
