Hongwanji students want empty recyclables

Advertiser Staff

Hongwanji Mission School, on Pali Highway, wants your empty plastic bottles or cans to raise money for an upcoming study tour to Japan.

Donations will be recycled as part of the fundraiser, which will help about 25 students visit sister Buddhist schools this spring.

The school will hold a recycling drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Pali Safeway parking lot.

Plastic bottles should be clean, with caps off.

Aluminum cans will be accepted, crushed or whole.

For more information, call 292-3037.
