Big Island police recruit class graduates 15

The 72nd Recruit Class of the Hawai'i County Police Department included 15 graduates from California, Massachusetts, South Carolina, Alaska, Arizona, Tahiti, Japan, O'ahu and the Big Island.The class was recognized today in ceremonies at the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel. The class is headed by Larry E. Flowers Jr. (academic training excellence), Blaine H. J. Morishita (excellence in firearms training) and Marlin H. Hopson ( excellence in physical fitness training).
Other members: Bronson R. Acdal, Erhard Autrata, Shane A. Davis, Kawehilani Fo, Jason K. Hamada, Alex T. Kapana, Daniel M. Kuwabara, Aaron L. Loges, Kimmerlyn K. Makuakane-Jarrell, Eric J. Ontiveros, Keith K. Simeona Jr., and Sharon Yoon.
